Our mission is to help kids succeed in all areas of language—whether they need support with speaking, understanding, reading, spelling, or writing. We offer individualized therapy and intensive reading intervention using evidence-based methods, all designed to build confidence and lasting skills.

MEET YOUR SPEECH THERAPIST
Lindsay Donellan, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Lindsay brings twelve years of experience to her work at Donellan Speech Therapy. She grew up in Burlingame and is proud to now serve families in her hometown and throughout San Mateo County.

​After receiving her bachelor's degree from University of California, Davis, Lindsay earned her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from University of the Pacific. Since then, Lindsay has been committed to staying updated on the latest research in the field and furthering her knowledge through continuing education, including advanced training in literacy and structured reading approaches.​
​
Lindsay knows that children learn best when they are engaged, so she follows each child’s lead and designs therapy that is fun, effective, and tailored to their unique needs. She is especially passionate about helping children master speech sound production and strengthen foundational reading skills, so they can thrive both academically and socially. In her spare time, Lindsay loves traveling and spending time with her family and two black labs, Flint and Cruz!

Contact us to schedule a complimentary phone consultation. We'll discuss your concerns and explain how our services can help.
STEP TWO
Next, we will complete an evaluation where we will identify your child's needs and strengths to guide therapy.
STEP THREE
Begin weekly therapy sessions. We offer in-home or at school services in San Mateo County and teletherapy services to all California residents.

INSURANCE AND BILLING
Donellan Speech Therapy is a private-pay practice and provides detailed superbills for families pursuing out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend confirming your benefits directly with your insurance provider. We accept cash, check, credit card, and HSA/FSA card payments.
